ALBA AR3 CHASSIS 002

The Alba racing car company was formed in 1982, ready to compete for the 1983 season. The company was formed by highly rated Osella F1 designer and engineer Gorgio Stefano. They were extremely succesfull and won the C2 class championships in both 83 and 84. The cars were highly competitive and actaully out qualified the Jaguars at Miami in 84.

This particular Alba started it's racing life in 1984 and had some notable results including 5th at Mosport, and 14th at Silverstone. In 1985 it was placed 15th at Spa and competed at Le Mans. This car is fitted with the correct Ford Cosworth 3.3ltr DFL engine, and DG300 gearbox. Car comes with FIA papers.
